COSA CIP 96 is a strong alkaline liquid cleaner for pharmaceutical CIP applications and compatible membrane filtration systems. The surfactant-free formulation is produced according to GMP requirements, is non-foaming and can be monitored using conductivity.
Key features and benefits
- High cleaning efficacy for organic process soils.
- Suitable for a wide range of water hardness conditions.
- Surfactant-free and non-foaming.
- Suitable for selected membrane materials and filtration plants.
- Can be combined with the COSA PUR booster range and monitored using conductivity.
Applications
- CIP for pipelines, tanks, reactors and fermenters: typically 1-4% at 5-95 C.
- Foam cleaning: typically 1-1.5% COSA CIP 96 with 0.5-1% COSA FOAM 40 for 10-20 minutes.
- Membrane cleaning: typically 0.5-3% at temperatures up to 85 C, subject to membrane compatibility and manufacturer guidance.
