COSA FOAM 40 is a neutral liquid cleaner that can be used independently for manual or neutral foam cleaning, or combined with selected COSA CIP products to create alkaline or acidic foam-cleaning solutions.

Applications
- Alkaline foam cleaning: typically 1-1.5% COSA CIP 96 plus 0.5-1% COSA FOAM 40 for 10-20 minutes.
- Acid foam cleaning: typically 1-1.5% COSA CIP 72 plus 0.5-1% COSA FOAM 40 for 10-20 minutes.
- Neutral foam cleaning: typically 0.5-1% COSA FOAM 40 for 10-20 minutes.
- Manual cleaning: typically 0.5-2% at 15-50 C, using a swab, brush or pad where required.
