COSA PUR 84 is a pigment-removal booster for alkaline process-cleaning solutions. It improves complexing and soil-suspending performance against pigment residues and mixed inorganic and organic deposits in pharmaceutical and cosmetic equipment.
Key features and benefits
- Designed to improve pigment removal in alkaline cleaning solutions.
- Targets inorganic and organic deposits as well as pigment residues.
- High soil-suspending power.
- Designed for single use at relatively low additive concentration.
- Supported by Ecolab validation and residue-analysis documentation.
Applications
- General CIP for homogenisers, pipelines and tanks.
- Typically 1-2% COSA CIP solution plus 0.5-1% COSA PUR 84.
- Typical temperature range is 45-95 C, ideally 60-80 C.
- Final rinsing is most effective below 40 C using water of minimum drinking-water quality.
