COSA PUR 85 is an oxidising cleaning booster used with alkaline cleaners for stubborn pharmaceutical and cosmetic production residues. Its chlorine-free oxidative action is intended for soils that are difficult to remove through alkaline cleaning alone.
Key features and benefits
- Oxidising action for persistent, difficult-to-remove residues.
- Chlorine-free formulation.
- Strong soil-suspending performance.
- Suitable for piping, mixers, fluid beds, tanks and storage vessels under stated conditions.
- Supported by Ecolab validation and residue-analysis documentation.
Applications
- Add immediately before cleaning to a 1-2% COSA CIP solution, typically at 0.5-1% COSA PUR 85.
- Typical circulating temperature is 50-85 C; full effectiveness is stated above 60 C.
- Interval addition may be used to maintain efficacy over a longer period.
- Not intended for closed systems because oxygen separation can increase pressure.
